Just a thought about the sheer brain power of the Bosch Fuel Systems Crew --- they have more PhDs on salary probably than Ford have in the whole North American Division.
Plus research facilities, engineering test data, and access to some of the best science and technology in Europe, and by extension, around the world.
Yet they did not find this problem before the CP 4 hit the fan.
So do all of us a favor and don't under estimate your contribution to this discussion.
As you can see, I am really not that good at engineering, but I am pretty good at rooting out other peoples stuff and making some sense of it.
You have seen a lot of this CP 4 in the field, and that in and of itself is valuable.
In one shot, we went from one first hand account (rickatic) to many first hand accounts with a longer history (VW) as a result of your contribution --- that is huge.
BTW, I haven't registered at TDI because I think they require ownership of a TDI to have the moderator OK the deal.
Also, at this time this thread is relatively uncensored, and I wouldn't want to get the backs up over there.
So please, drop the BS about paper credentials, roll up your sleeves, and help the highly qualified experts at Bosch management see the light at the end of the CP 4 tunnel.
PS Think of me as Bruno Stachel trying to shoot down 20 hypothesis about CP 4 failures so I can pick up the Blue Max.
