We need to import some Bosch HPFP designers in to Los Angeles, force them to drive and commute during rush hour traffic 1.5 hours each way in a VW TDI or Ford F250 while filling up with CARB's finest D2 that money can buy, until they experience first hand some HPFP failures on our freeways with their traffic... maybe then they will better understand designing a pump for "suitability of use" on existing fuel in the North American infrastructure.
Or let them do a trip through the Sonoran Desert of AZ in August, 150 miles from BF Egypt, on vacation with their family, when that HPFP sh*ts the bed, in 120 F temps of day time. Let them then hole up in a room for 2 to 3 weeks while VW gets the parts in stock to do the repair so their car runs again, because the kits are on back order. Yeah, that's the ticket, a dose of reality for them.
