I wonder if Bosch has an Oversight committee? Something about aluminum bores, when the CP3 was lower pressure, more expensive to manufacture, and steel bores, when aluminum bores are so much easier to manufacture, cut and CNC, both in time and in down time, changing out bits, has me wondering if Bosch just cheaped out to make it quick and dirty, with less moving parts, less manucturing costs, less, less, less, including less life cycle. Or the next question is... Was Bosch sold a Bill of Goods on DLC coatings? Or a Bill of Goods from sub contractors? How does their QC flow sheet work, and at what steps along the way of manufacture? Every step of the process requires analysis, NewsW.
