Locally, there was a huge 'discussion' at the planning commission presentation
of a bio-diesel facility.
They planned on producing and storing bio-diesel on site with a reserve for
several months. Now that you point out the shelf life, wonder what their
customers are going to see all too soon.
Now this has some rethinking on our 'Be Ready Be Safe' metrics. We live in
earthquake country and one metric is our generator and vehicle fuel. 10KW gasser
generator and was looking at a diesel generator, but now seemingly a poor choice
Then ask what about all of the emergency diesel generators out there for fire,
police, hospitals, etc with tanks in the several gallon capacity.
