To ask.. With this pump design, wouldn't this pump be less damaging down stream if the fuel in the cam area goes back to to the return line? The bottom half of the pump shouldn't need high pressure fuel to lube it nor should the fuel leave this area to go towards the injectors.
Basically, if the fuel in the cam area never made it to the high pressureside, the chances for injector damage would be eliminated.
I would gladly pay $500 (which is my deductible) towards a redesigned pump, just for a little peace of mind. I feel many people would.
