Is there a trend line with respect to failures?
Is it diminishing as a % of sales?
Do not know as Ford will only provide data that the NHTSA has ordered.
rick... what is the trendline for HPFP failues in past months?
It has seemed to be slackening...but who knows? I personally know of several past HPFP failures that have not been posted to Ford forums. One of the reports, first hand, comes from a large public utility that has over 400 6.7 Fords in their fleet and several HPFP failures...some were warrantied...some not
If we are right on heat as an issue, summer is coming up.
Can we get HPFP failure data from Australia (just finished summer)?

While I know this is a Ford related 6.7 post, the commonality of the Bosch CP 4.x pump comes up in what ever vehicle it is installed in and the failures.
No need to caveat your comments here...these guys are smart enough to see that the Bosch CP4.x series pumps are identical internally both ion design and function. Since any Blue KoolAid is immediately quarantined, your insightful commentary is welcome.
Perhaps your analogy video showing the high speed rotational forces developed by a spinning valve train could be posted here...it will not be deleted here...
