Something that would give a gross indication as to whether there was an energy surge (both voltage and / or current) just before or after a failure of the HPFP.
Or surges even months before... as per ground fault hypothesis above.
I will ask the tool guys if IDS stores that. It does download data and puts it on a Ford website.
