The takeaway for Ford and GM owners is that the HPFP is an emissions part covered under the longer than bumper-to-bumper and / or powertrain warranty.
Ditto for injectors, hoses, and all the work needed to fix a bad pump.
As long as you operated the vehicle entirely to Ford spec, with every fuel purchase (not above B20) documented with receipts, and all maintenance properly done, it is very hard for Ford to deny the warranty UNLESS there is evidence of fuel contamination.
If so, the recourse is the fuel dealer(s) and your comprehensive warranty.
