It is a minor issue --- though I am unimpressed that Ford's instructions to reset the code and see... was not followed with instructions to take the car for a test drive before handing it back to the customer.
The fact the light came right back on as customer drove away says... either no drive was done or a very short one.
That is disappointing.
Diagnosing and repairing a modern diesel engine properly is largely beyond the current skills of most dealer based techs in the field.
Sadly, that is the case for about 80% of them out there.
