A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

My grandpa in Upper Michigan had a big red three legged dog. I spent several summer vacation as a youth enjoying this wonderful animal. there was nothing that this dog couldn't do that a four legged animal could do. he could climb up and down the ladder into the hay loft and run for miles. His name was Chummy, and Chummy was my shadow all summer. I had a couple friends on the next farm and Chummy would lead all our expeditions into the wildeness woods across the road. He sure would make you wonder why dogs came with four as three worked as well for him. Here's to the courage of three legged dogs and the successful recovery of this Golden.

Been quiet for awhile, was in the hospital for a week. On the mend now. Can't stay in a hospital for too long. All those doctors will make you sick. LOL
