Snowstorm = project time

We picked up just shy of 12" of snow yesterday. Between following the snowblower around and shoveling, I puttzed around and built now pads for the stabilizers and tongue jack. Bored, daytime TV stinks, so why not? Used scrap 2"x6" boards. Stabilizer pads are 12" long, paracord handles stapled in between and then sandwiched in place. Handle for tongue jack is 2" web strapping (stapled, sandwiched).

  • I agree that daytime tv stinks. We spend more time on You Tube. I am stuck near home because of my medical problems. We can't get farther than a drive during the day.

    Dealing with problems on forums is about all I can handle.  😑

  • Good looking work.

    It's funny when I look at your pads I think they look heavy. But then I use pads and they are 4x4's and probably even heavier. 😁

      I haven't weighed them. I will do so and post the results here.

  • Tongue jack pad weighs 13 lbs. Stabilizer pads weigh 3.5 lbs. Very acceptable numbers for the durability.
