Acadia National Park to Baddeck, Cape Breton Island

We are planning a trip from Acadia National Park to Baddeck, Cape Breton Island. Plan to do the Cabot Trail, only problem is we've allowed 2 days travel between the 2 spots. Does anyone have a sugge...

Two places we stayed enroute to Cape Breton back in 2008 were Loch Lomond RV Park in Amherst NS, just over the border from NB. They are open until 9/31. The other was Whidden Park in Antigonish NS. They are open until 10/15.
