I've been here over 50 years and quit carrying a gun a long time ago. Even when out moose hunting, around bears all of the time, I quit taking my 44 a long time ago. It was always in the way. If you have anything less, the only thing it's good for might be to shoot yourself.
Haven't heard of any problems on dogs other than get their shots and have the papers. The biggest problem is trying to figure out which fruit is going to be banned which week. As for the booze, buy it in Canada or Alaska. Big deal.
As for the road just slow down on the frost heaves some. If you've been to Calif and made it over all of the joints on their cement roads, you can handle the AlCan.
