All quiet in Nogales
Drove down to Nogales this morning to see my Mexican dentist for a cleaning. With a little morning traffic in Tucson, it took an hour and a half {mas y menos}. Parked in the dentist's lot on the US side and walked the block to his office.
About 45 minutes and $35 later I walked straight across the border with no wait, showed my passport and back to the car. Vehicular traffic was also moving smoothly with no troops or razor wire in sight. The vibe was mellow and everyone seemed to just be going about their business.
No "film at eleven" tonight folks... just nothing to see here.
