alternate route around Memphis going east/west??

In a week we leave north Alabama headed to Santa Fe and then a 2 week loop thru Utah pulling a 32 foot TT with a pick-up. We basically go 200 miles to Memphis, hang a left on I-40, and go 1000 miles ...

FWIW - We just came thru Memphis last week, heading east. Other than the construction on I-40 from the I-55 interchange to the east side of the river, there were no challenges, no heavy traffic (on a Wednesday morning), no problems at all. Just avoid rush hour.
