Thanks for your post, it helps keep unenlightened visitors out of Mexico.
We are currently on the beach in the fishing village of La Manzanilla, Jalisco, Mexico having a magnificent time sharing our time mostly with locals and enlightened visitors.
La Manzanlla - navegatorExplorerSome of the big companies in Mexico with ties to the USA have been down there since the end of WWII, many moons ago my sister worked for Price Water House Mexico City, an acounting firm from New York I belive, that did all the acounting for a lot of American Companies in Mexico, there are a number of American middle and high schools that where established in the earlly fifties and are recognised by all the Universities in the USA.
Mexico has more ties to the USA than what a lot of people realise.
navegator - briansueExplorerForgot to mention all the rest of the world's car companies as well as Freightliner, Kenworth, Caterpillar, John Deere, and the list goes on of US companies leaving the US in droves to head on down to paradise - or that all the big corporate agricultural companies have also left the US in droves to create huge new farming regions in Mexico - and how the trucks from Mexico line up at the border to bring food to the US which has become a country that no longer knows how to feed themselves. Not all parents pass on their basic intelligence genes to their offspring.

If you have nothing good to say why don't you keep quiet, silence is golden.

Nicely said. Let me just add that ignorance can be educated but there is no cure for stupid. (I just deleted some rude comments I made in response.) - stew47ExplorerI was getting ready to post what a lawless, drug infested, murder capital of the world Mexico is. Then I remembered I was in Cleveland today to watch Christmas lights in public square. I realized the only difference is the temperature.

Some of you are probably not aware how many American companies have manufacturing companies in Mexico, Ford, General Motors, Crysler, Procter and Gamble, Coca Cola, Pepesi Cola, 3M, Monsanto Purina, and then you have the big box stores Sears, Home Depot, Walmart, Costco, and one that I used to go to when my parents lived in Mexico City, the Pigly Wigly, and Pitza Hut, Dairy Queen and then you have the big metalurgical companies Alcoa comes to mind and a bunch more that I can't remember.
So before you statrt bad mouthing the neighbors to the South think how many people there are in the world that do not like the United States of America, and then be glad that they are not in ower neighborhood!

navegator - moishehExplorerrickswin: You could not be more incorrect. Mexicans would sooner live in Mexico. They only cross to the USA for economic reasons. If you could not find a job wouldn't you do the same?? Mexicans love their country. BTW: Foreign tourism is up over 6% for the first 9 months of 2013. BTW: What gives you the right to describe Mexico in those terms. I guess your mama never taught you any manners! I know Americans who describe SC in those words!
Moisheh - rickswinnExplorerAs a kid, 60 years ago, my parents would take me down there form So. Cal. for fun and sun. As an adult I have always been amazed at citizens of the United States going to Mexico for any reason. If allowed, I'm sure that every Mexican citizen would leave Mexico for good for the U.S., well maybe 10 - 12 would stay but they would be equally as crazy as the U.S. citizen who go to Mexico for any reason. Mexico is a grand s--t hole.
- old_guyExplorergoing to take more than that to get into mexico
