Returning to the fold (hopefully)

Hi folks, I am a member of the B+ group but I haven’t had an rv for a number of years. We are thinking about renting one and (since we are now older) seeing if we still have the spark.  I was wondering what sources are now available?   I used Woodruffs and another guide ‘back when’ but I know that things have changed dramatically since we were active.

thanks in advance!

  • If only we had a device that we could use to find the information we seek…..

  • Welcome back Charlie. Renting is a great idea to see if you still are interested in the life style. I would do a quick google search for "RV for rent" and see what you find. Yes it could be a bit more than you expected with all the incidentals that might drive up the rental cost. But probably still a heck of a lot cheaper than buying just to experiment.

  • Sources for renting? Check local craigslist ads for Mom and Pop rentals. Most dealers will also have some rentals on hand. Be prepared to pay a fee for just about everything from cleaning to topping off the lp tanks. But renting is an excellent way to see if you really want to start RVing again without a massive expense and regret.
