Why thank you for the kind level headed remarks.I do believe they will be helpful when passing into our country for your fellow country men.I wonder if you might elaborate on the less extra things that we are paranoid about.Never mind,it wouldn't be relevant either.

I have no problem obeying the laws in your country. I intend to leave all guns at home. But the fact that I have a CCP may well cause problems at the border and I think that is paranoid. But I've heard that NJ and MD cops will pull over out of state people with a CCP so Canadians aren't alone.

They tore us apart at Sumas just because the computer said I was a retired LEO and they "knew" I would have a gun with me. Had nothing and lost about 1½ hours while they looked for the non existent weapon. I could only guess what would happen if the found or you declared ammo and no gun. Much cheaper and faster to purchase your ammo at the place you are shipping your weapon to.
