Anyone familiar with I40 through NM and AZ

I40 from ABQ west is pretty good road, cant say about once in calif as its been a long time since I've been to that state. But it was OK when lasted used (on a Goldwing with trailer). There are typical rough patches on 40 around gallup, some in AZ, but overall a pretty good road. We traveled it last summer with our TT. In Gallup at the 21 mile marker I think it is, is a Bonanza Steak House. odd service and prices, there is supposed to be another in Flagstaff. Also you can drive into the painted desert off I40 and can see some of the sites that are often advertised like meteor crater, Ice caves in NM just before gallup, wupatki/sunset lava flow in flagstaff plus a side trip to the GC. Park in flagstaff and day trip with the kids.

A lot of good side trips just depends on your time and availability.
