Anyone familiar with FVP Batteries

Question

My new to me motorhome needed new house batteries.

Stopped at a exclusively Batteries shop in Lake Havasu on our way home from the PARKER Strip today.
Decided to go from two 12 volt batteries to two 6 volt batteries.

Very nice guys at the shop recommended the FVP 6Volt batteries.
He also said they were a Black Box Battery produced by Trojan (turns out that was not true).

Batteries I bought:

$99.95 each installed.
on the battery the model code actually ends with TRJ

I don't think I have gone wrong.
Only time will tell.

Anyone familiar with this battery.

Weight is a vital component in calculating what your dollar purchased.

Trojan USED TO insist on white jars with red lids when they ran out of maroon embossed case jars. Never to my knowledge had they used any other color.

Looks like FVP has some racing history and they offer a few products including batteries. But not much information on their website. Actually saw a few FVP batteries today in a local car repair shop.

I'd want to know who makes the batteries and in what country. But if they work for you then great.

All three jars on their home page match those used by Exide.
