arcata to redding

I have always taken it in the other direction and most recently in a 32 Class A pulling a Grand Cherokee. It's a full day's trip for me. You're not going to have any more problems than you probably encountered getting to Arcata in the first place. If you were going a ways south, I would agree with going down by Clear Lake.
