Yep. Part of the game. These types of activities come with calculated risks. Not everyone is ready for them. :) - romoreExplorer II

We call those Chinese fire drills. Not sure why it's called that, nor if it's offensive to the Chinese. Once in a while someone couldn't get back in fast enough and they'd have to find their own way home. Almost like a combo Chinese fire drill and musical chairs.

I wonder if it was a leather couch or just cloth? :B
Did they use weight distribution? - gboppExplorerI wonder if it was a leather couch or just cloth? :B
- nbkingExplorerI was born in Miramichi many many years ago, now you can see why I left. No one is allowed to have any fun any more. Can you imagine a law that says you cannot tow a couch?
- DutchmenSportExplorerDid a little searching on the Internet, found this. It must be a new "fad" for sure, or maybe an old one I've just never heard about. Looks like a bunch people who just have too much time on their hands!

Get the kids to take you to where evfer while you watch the in motion satellite battery or ac powered tv from ATV. Of course if rains......
Remember the od stunts we did as "kids".One of my Friends in high school put a 61 Chvey backwards on the frame, well finished item inside and out.
Got stopped several times. I'm sure it caused some traffic problems, but life was at a slower pace in the sixties and everyone had fun.
Remember the desk and chair powered by a v8. That caught some attention. The V8 Bar Stool. The V8 powered bathtub and the bath tub drag race car/vehicle.
Kids with a little money and no draconian paper enforcers built some interesting stuff.
I'm still young, at heart, and drive a 200mph AMG. Don't shake your heads.
I'm looking fora Tony the Tiger's tail to put in the trunk opening.
Remember the fake dead body hanging out of trunks, or arms or feet.
I had more money and someone to do it for me I would build another V8 desk and chair, maybe one of them one arm sofas with a v8.
Come to think of it, if I can find a good cruising town I might do that. With some careful grooming I might look 20. Cops hav killed cruising and just about all fun. I did see one car full of girls, at a traffic light get out run around the car and gt back in with the driver being the last one out and keep rotating drivers at the lights.
The Fities and Sixties was a lot of fun. Everyone says we are too old and I an move like I want to but by golly I'm not dad yet and still young in mind. - turbojimmyExplorer

Me neither.
It's "illegal to tow a couch through a drive through"? Show me the law.
Yeah I'd like to see the legal code that specifically prohibits the towing of a couch through a drive-thru. But who knows? Maybe it's an epidemic up there.
I would think plenty of other laws were broken in the process of getting the couch through the drive-thru. - DutchmenSportExplorer"McEachern says it is illegal to tow a couch through a drive-thru, but the two men were wearing helmets."
I greatly appreciate it they were thinking "Safety first!" Makes it much safer on the roads! ;)
