Glad to read your enjoying yourselves up here. Just wanted to comment on your question you asked yourself while in Valdez after the pastor told you we had over 400 inches of snow, how many snow days the schools had. The answer would be none. I work for AKDOT here and we run crews day & night 7 days a week in the winter to keep the rosds open. Then the city has a fleet of loaders and graders for the town, we're used to it and deal with the snow to keep things going.
