Bakersfield to Morro Bay
Going from Bakersfield to Morro Bay; Is I5 to 46 to the 101 to 41 the best route? Or take 58 from I5 across be better?

I'd take CA58 from the I5 to US101. Then north to CA41 and into Morro Bay. If you don't mind a fairly steep down hill (I don't), go south on US101 to CA1 and then to Morro Bay.
