- sweetnoniExplorerTook a 6 mile test drive on 42S before we hooked up in Bandon, decided it was too curvy and narrow to enjoy the ride, so went up to Coos Bay area and took 42 to Coquille and then onward to I-5. Beautiful drive, glad we did it that way, it was enjoyable.
- LaurenExplorerI don't like narrow with rv's and logging trucks and cyclists two wide taking up a lane so might just stick with the 101 and 42 to minimize, not eliminate, that.
- ValkyriebushExplorer III would avoid 42S to Bandon and take 42 to Coos bay. The few mile difference is worth it. 42S is fine as long as nothing large is coming the other way, it's narrow at many points. Stay relaxed and take 42. Bandon is a really nice town.
- cpaulsenExplorerLittle narrow in places but a good road.
- LaurenExplorerThanks .................. and we are always looking for veggie / fruit stands!
- RedRollingRoadbExplorerGood road.
- FiverwheelExplorer42S is just fine. It's a beautiful drive to Coquille which then as you turn right on to 42 is still a very nice trip. Stop in Coquille at the produce stand on your left. Fresh local produce!
