Best route from Durango to Colorado Springs. 160?

Looks like there's quite a pass if you go east but worse if you go north. Google map shots suggest it's one very long climb. I have a very heavy fifth-wheel. Which route would you recommend? Th...

I tow a 34' 14K fiver.....done the route north to Montrose and then East and have done the East route (160)
