Best route from Miami to Adirondacks?
I can get out of Florida but where does the Appalachian area begin? Where does it end? Planning on leaving beginning of May.Would like to see to the very end where ever that is. Any "must see" sights ...

My way would be I95, Richmond bypass then 17 at Fredticksburg to I81 all the way to Binghamton then I88 Schenectady/Albany area. No tolls or big city traffic to this point. From here it depends on where in the Andirondacks you want to go. You can pick up Rt 30 in just a few miles and go right up the middle of the park. Lots of nice state parks and privatr campgrounds. I87 will take you up the east side if you want to get NE. I love this park in spring or fall. Busy in summer.
