- RCMAN46ExplorerTrailers are not allowed in the HOV lanes.
Also unless you are willing to tow at 75 mph you will be holding g up a mile of traffic. - cruiserjsExplorerX3 on the Price/ Spanish forks idea. The HOV lanes (assuming there are at least 2 of you in the truck) work well to get thru' the SLC area!!

Green River to Price to Spanish Fork, then 1-15 all the way. Your worst climb will be Soldier Summit and it's not bad. Try to go through SLC on a Sunday morn for the least traffic, as that freeway is really busy most of the time. DO NOT go through SLC at night as the freeway is always under construction with merging lanes etc. and hard to see at night. Your next hill will be Malad Pass and you will hardly notice it. Malad has all services, BTW.
