best route near Great Basin Natl. Park
We will be heading south through Ely around the middle of October with our signature MH and trailer(65')length. My question is...should we stay on Hwy 50 all the way to I-15 and forget about going...

Great Basin Nat'l Park is too good to pass up. I would guess it's one of the least visited parks because not many travel Hwy 50, Nevada (except those that know good drives). :) Definitely do the Lehman Cave tour. Hwy 487/21 is a good road to get to I-15.
For the park, we stay at this awesome little BLM recreation area - good for big rigs - about 30 min to the national park.
