Best route to Myrtle Beach Pirateland CG from I 95

Hi All,

Heading to Myrtle Beach SC Pirateland CG, for first time towing 28' TT. Can anyone suggest the best route from I 95? Mapquest shows exiting in NC with lots of turns and twists. Isn't there a simpler way from I 95 to the CG?

    When I go to MBTP this is the way I go...--
    exit 95 S at I believe exit #13 and take 74 East
    74 east to 410 SOUTH
    410 SOUTH TO 701 towards Tabor City
    701 south to 9 south
    9 south to 31 south
    for you -
    Highway 31 south to the end - take 544 east to 17..
    At that point , I am not sure if it is north or south of there ...
    For us at MBTP - from the time we exit 95 to we get to the campground , it is about 1-1/2 hrs and 75 miles

    1 year we came all the way in 501.. never again..... NEVER
