Big Sur is blocked?
Wow. They are going to need to spend a lot of money over a lot of time to fix the 1 through big sur. This means that my road, the 101, is going to be more congested this year, I suspect.

The businesses there are hurting since they are cut off due to a bridge closure and the landslide. In July they are going to start up a shuttle service to try and get more people into the area. Passengers will have to get off one shuttle bus, hike around the bridge that's out, and then board another shuttle.
