Blythe, CA to Ramona, CA
How is SR 78 from Blythe to Ramona? Not towing - just driving the pickup. We are heading for Rancho Bernardo area in San Diego County.

- Nice and scenic drive it does get curvy in places but like others have indicated it's a lot better than going around north or south using I-10 or I-8.
- Julian to Ramona is only 24 miles or so......35 mins.
Sure beats going all the way around via I-8. Especially when not towing.
Stop off in Julian for some pie and cider. - How is it? Curvy as hell through Julian.
