Anyone know of a nice private campground in Blythe, CA? Or close to it? Looking to stay 1 night, a layover on our way home to So Cal. We'll be coming from Catalina State Park on January 2nd. We stayed at a place in Blythe about 3 years ago and it was a dump.

We have stayed in the Arizona Oasis RV Resort and found it OK. Also at the same exit as the Flying J. Gas and fuel lots cheaper than CA

Blythe :(:(Not to hurt any feelers of any one in living in Blythe, BUT Blythe is the "Arm Pit" of the desert:) Drive another 2 hours to Indio and you will have your many choices of very nice RV parks and amenities in the community.

Just looking for a place to spend the night, and don't want to drive the extra 2 hours to Indio. Looks like the The Cove in Blythe might work for an overnighter

If you just want to stay overnight and can survive without hookups, why not stop on the AZ side of the river and stay for free? Pretty warm this time of year though?

We stayed for a single night without unhooking last winter at Hidden Beaches River RV at Passport America rate. Once in mid-Dec and once in mid-Mar.

Not the greatest place, but very good for us for an overnight.

Jan 2nd? I'm shocked (SHOCKED I say) that nobody has suggested to simply move on to Quartzsite about 30 miles to the east. There will be lots of snowbirds already but NOTHING like it will be three weeks after that.. there are RV parks all over the place and you might only have several thousand acres of BLM boondocking left.

FWIW- Blythe ain't nothin to write home about
