Boise to Fresno in mid November
Hi Everyone ! I plan to be heading from Boise to Fresno in mid November and am looking for suggestions on the best routes. Thanks in advance for your as usual amazing advice Jon

Donner Pass should be clear in November. However I would suggest being prepared.
If you are on any sort of schedule and not driving a 4wd/awd vehicle with M+S rated tires, I'd recommend getting chains before going and learning how to install them. Last thing you want to do is be at the mercy of the chain sellers/renters over the pass.
However if it's no hurry, there are plenty of places to stay and wait for the pass to be cleared.
