I have many times but only ride in rural areas & off-road. No TIP required for 250cc. I cable lock EVERYWHERE to an anchor/post or something unmovable or the bike/motorcycle/scooter WILL disappear. Also cable lock my UTV when taken SOB. Of course I also cable lock everything at night in States.
