I posted earlier a link to Colorado passes that includes the maximum grade(s). I've also seen grade info on either the Montana or Idaho DOT sites.
Grade can also be calculated from contour maps, such as Google Maps with terrain mode turned on. For example on your route, I see that it climbs from 2000' to 4400' in 7.4 miles (mostly 4 lane), which is 6%. It continues to climb to 5600', but that doesn't look as steep.
