California Hwy 1 from San Simeon to Santa Cruz
I know parts of Hwy 1 are not suitable for a large RV. Can anyone tell us about this stretch of Hwy 1. We have a 40' motorcoach pulling a pickup.

I have done it...north to south, ok. South to north, not so much fun. The vistas are all on the ocean side and you will not be able to cross traffic to reach pull outs. I would camp at San Simeon SP and drive the toad on a day trip instead. Pretty much the same advice all the way up the California coast, the vista points are on the ocean side of the highway.
