California Hwy 1 from San Simeon to Santa Cruz
I know parts of Hwy 1 are not suitable for a large RV. Can anyone tell us about this stretch of Hwy 1. We have a 40' motorcoach pulling a pickup.

Carmel to San Simeon is 40' restricted, south of there 45' is ok.
It's not all narrow and twisty, but there are no exits or bypasses around the sections that hug a rugged coast. There's no way across the mountains to US101 between Carmel and CA46.
