The Church book is geared more towards snowbirds, i overland is more for overlanders. I used i overlander all through mexico and like it, but I am not traveling in a large 'coach' or 5 th wheel and do not need to call and make a reservation, I check i overlander on the phone see if the last check in says it's open and then go there. Pretty easy. A couple of times like in Oaxaca and San Cristobal i defaulted back to a simple google search, worked for me. i overland is really nice, sometimes I feel like it's cheating.
