I am not on facebook and will never participate in the so called social media. I do not patronize any company or org that does not have an alternative method to conact other than facebook.
Any website that requires that we provide our names and email as well as other info about ourselves before allowing us to peruse their website is highly suspect in my opinion - and Facebook has been caught far too many times letting very private and personal info get out into the world. Why anyone feels safe going on there is beyond my comprehension. Yes I know I can lie and provide false ID to get on - but I won't do it. I provide info on this forum because I feel it has limited exposure and has not been compromised as Facebook has been in the past. So no social media for us. And beside all of that we already waste way too much time on the internet anyway and Facebook seems to be the biggest time waster in existence.
