Can anyone read Spanish?

Never mastered it for sure, always had a accent. And now, I have forgotten more than I ever knew, and the spell check on these things doesn't have a clue. Sure, I probably get cursed in some language every day, but I don't understand what they are saying, I just ignore it and go on my way.

I studied four years of Spanish in Spain at the Real Academia de la Lengua Espanola.

I have spoken written and read Spanish my entire life.

The wording that I have given here is the correct spelling for a simple notice that conveys danger and what to do in correct Spanish and not any slang form or poor translation, if anyone does not like it that is O.K. with me I am only writing the correct form to help!

Yes, it could've been written "It is not allowed to cross this police line" :)

About No se baje or No bajes - I'm not 100% positive about either one. No se baje is very common as a warning, No bajes is a direct negative command.

When you mention "la" rampa es muy pesada you are mentioning the ramp specifically, in correct Spanish you need to have the proper definition of gender.

Again " no se baje a mano" is specifying what not to do by hand, no baje does not specify what it is that you do not want to be lowered and in reality (no baje) means that the person is not to go down and not the ramp.

All of the four farces go together as one complete instruction rather than separate farces, and grammatically it is correct even in "Mexican" Spanish.

Translating from English to Spanish literally is not good to convey the same meaning, yes "no baje la rampa a mano" can be used but "no se baje" is more of a direct order of what not to do, otherwise what is being meant by "no baje la rampa a mano" means do not go down the ramp on your hands.

Use the four sentences together they are correct and convey the correct meaning.

This is Mexico.
Discard - La, Es. Similar to English "The (this) door is very heavy" vs "Very heavy door" - the latter is shorter, easier to draw an attention, minor grammar imperfections are OK on signs.

No se baje a mano = Can't be lowered by hand. Correct, but No baje is shorter and more correct, being exactly "Do not lower". This is a sign, not a technical manual :)

PS: I would probably write "No bajes". Again, because this is Mexico, formal Usted is rarely used. At least, in "my" part of Mexico.

PPS: With all that grammar knowledge, still don't understand sh-t when they talk at their normal pace, 4 times faster than we normally do.

I some times hate the auto spell check, it should be "vehiculo" singular and not plural "vehiculo(s).

The wording and spelling are in accordance with the Real Academia de la Lengua Espanola, this means that any one that reads Spanish will understand regardless of the colloquial differences in pronunciation, I have spoken written and read Spanish my entire life, as well as English and Swedish.

Studied Spanish in Spain at the Real Academia de la Lengua Espanola, many of the internet translators are useless they are practically word for word and the construction is completely wrong and thus the actual meaning, specially with official documents, the document in Spanish means one thing and the translation to English is totally different in meaning or context, many of the translated documents that I have read in English in this forum and then read the Spanish version where different in meaning, context and interpretation.

Meh. It wouldn't really matter. Some subtle changes in pronunciation and proper nouns and pronouns but in text like that there would be no confusion. It's just a dialect change. On a weekly basis I speak with Spanish speakers in Spain, Columbia, Venezuela, Mexico , Chili and Peru. Although there are obvious changes it is all the same language. Amusing sometime though.

This is more explicit in conveying that the ramp is dangerous by being heavy and to use the winch inside the unit.
