Canada Full Time Insurance?

Any Canadians here that can offer advice on insurance for full timer? I am in Ontario and when we moved into our MH in 2014 State Farm (Certas) gave me a contents policy for my stuff. I need $25-30K. They notified me last week that they would no longer provide content as a separate policy - only part of homeowners insurance. This cancels in March. Since then I seem to be hitting a blank wall. I had a broker here see if she could find something with no luck. Oddly the one insurance company she did find - Wayfairer does provide a contents policy but only if you are retired! How that factors in I have no idea but I am employed full time working from home so that is not an option for me.

Any ideas appreciated.

    We have Aviva Elite which offers contents and fulltimers (rv is only residence). Available from most brokers.

    I would check with Wayfarer Insurance brokers, they are owned by Aviva. They specialize in RV insurance and I've had good service from them.

    Thanks - I tried Wayfarer but they will only cover contents if I am retired. Do not understand what that has to do with anything.

    From your original post, it appears you had a broker contact Wayfarer Ins.
    If I were you, I would contact them directly myself - that way you can ask
    questions and get explanations. They deal with Aviva.

    We have had great service, including claims , from Wayfarers.

    My broker just called with a quote from Aviva Elite but they would not do my contents - apparently because I am employed. I will call them myself to see if I can glean any additional information.
