When camping in the states, we've learned to never ask for a "hydro" site, but rather an "electrical" site. In restaurants, we don't ask for "cutlery", but rather "silverware" (even if it's plastic in a fast-food establishment!). There are other examples of our "differences", but they're fairly minor compared to our similarities. We do find though that when some Americans learn that we're Canadian, they want to discuss/learn about Canada's Medicare system. However, this forum is certainly not the right place to discuss this issue.
