Palm Trees
For those that think Canada is the "frozen North", we have palm trees growing here on Vancouver Island. We have the mildest climate in Canada and have had many winters where snow is not seen on the southern coast. Its far from the nice climate of the southern US but not all ice and snow like some imagine. Where i live you can play a round of golf in the morning then drive up the mountain and go skiing in the afternoon. Come on up and visit some time. Spring to fall is the best time to see Canada unless you like winter sports.
