Last fall we bought our motorhome had a massive yard sale & headed for the coast. We have been living in it since, wintering again this winter on the island. I miss the snow & the bluebird days snowmobiling above the clouds near Revelstoke BC our once hometown. The island is wet gray & most people out here are pale & sneezing all winter it seems.
Our heating cost last winter was surprisingly low and nothing came even close to freezing. An oil filled electric heater on medium with the furnace occasionally kicking on and 2 warm ****zus kept us cozy. But the rain never let up.
