Now there is a huge difference between the cultures. The average Canadian's knowledge of world geography is usually far better than his southern neighbour counterpart who usually has little knowledge of what is where outside of the US.
Had to smile while watching 'world' news on the local news station. Every story was a US story. Not a one about anywhere outside the US.
thats like the family that crossed the boarder up by brockville, apearently around 2 pm, they were going to spend the afternoon in T O then head over to the falls and spend the night and next day there, then planned to drive to calgary for the stampede then to vancouver, all in 3 days.
or the other group that came accross in Niagara falls, with skies strapped to the roof, they were coming north to do some ski-ing,,,, in june.
