Here is the link to Niagara Parks Canada, it gives all sorts of info about the Niagara area, public transit geared for the tourist and parking info.
Another spot in the Niagara area to visit is Welland Canals, very interesting to see how ships, the length of two football fields are lifted the height of the falls.
Cash, the easiest way we found is to make a purchase at Walmart or virtually any business using your debit card and ask for or click the button on the Walmart register and get the cash in Canadian currency. Your bank will do all the exchange rates automatically.
U.S. currency is accepted at probably 95% of establishments in the Niagara Toronto area, maybe not the best exchange rates. Even here 2 hours north of the border, I and others have never had an issue using U.S. currency 5, 10, 20, 50s and even 100.
