Depends on time of day. Kinda like any City, I'd avoid downtown during rush hours. For Ciny, if you are towing a larger rig, there are some tight turns (edit: the turns I'm thinking of are on 71 not 75) just on the north side of the Ohio River, and the Stadium/riverfront area might be congested on game days.

My most recent trip through Cincy was a couple of weeks ago and I went around because I knew the Reds were playing at home. It is probably shorter mileage wise to go straight through.
