Living in Cincinnati these past 14 years, I avoid I-75 as much as possible. I think you would like the following adjustment to your Northern trek: When you cross the Ohio River take the I-71 exit immediately on the right, stay in the right lane (1/2 mile) and after a short tunnel you are North bound on I-71 towards Columbus. In less than 20 miles, go West on I-275 to hook back up to I-75 North (about 4 miles). This short detour is actually quicker and you don't have to fight the congestion and construction on I-75. By all means try to avoid the 4:00 - 6:00 PM rush hour traffic
I will be going thru either late Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning. I drive strait thru Atlanta so I am not afraid of traffic or construction just trying to Get to Celina by Sunday night . Trying to figure out best route. Take 75 thru Cincinnati or 75 to 127 at Cincinnati.
Go straight thru....you wont have any problems. One place had / has a little construction but its no biggie. Just pay attention and you'll slide right thru
We took I75 all the way through from Michigan to Florida a couple months ago. There must have been 30 miles of construction through Ohio but it went smoothly. You may want to take the left lane.
We also drive straight through Atlanta. I took the bypass once and it seemed to take alot longer. The traffic doesn't bother me either as we live near Detroit with alot of traffic.
