We took I75 all the way through from Michigan to Florida a couple months ago. There must have been 30 miles of construction through Ohio but it went smoothly. You may want to take the left lane.
We also drive straight through Atlanta. I took the bypass once and it seemed to take alot longer. The traffic doesn't bother me either as we live near Detroit with alot of traffic.
